On August 6, 2019, King County voters approved a measure to renew the property tax levy supporting parks, trails, and open space in King County. Executive Dow Constantine announced nearly $30 million in King County Parks Levy funding for 53 projects that will build and upgrade aquatic facilities, enhance parks and trails, protect and restore river corridors, and make access to healthy recreation more equitable. Thank you to everyone involved in granting us $103k for our safety classes and to replace our windows!
Evergreen Pool has been generously awarded $20,000 to support swim lesson scholarships for 2023! The USA Swimming Foundation aims to provide the opportunity for every child in the U.S. to learn to swim. Through an annual grant program and by partnering with swim lesson providers and water safety advocates across the country, we help to support swimming lessons, and educate children and their families on the importance of learning how to swim.
