In unincorporated King County, we rely on funding from our individual donations, grants, and through rentals/ summer programming. Although we have a handful of fundraising strategies, your support helps a child learn to swim, a senior stay active, and a family access essential programs.
At Evergreen Pool, we believe in fostering a safer community by equipping families with essential water safety knowledge. Our commitment to this cause is demonstrated through our monthly safety days incorporated into our lesson programming and our annual community safety event, April Pool's Day.
Each year, we have the privilege of serving between 50 to 100 families, ensuring that crucial safety skills are widely disseminated. Our safety day topics are comprehensive, covering areas such as recognizing safety risks, learning how to call for help, understanding the steps to take in emergencies, and the dangers associated with hypothermia and heat stroke.
By hosting these events, we at the pool not only enhance individual preparedness but also strengthen community bonds. Families are able to leave with the confidence and skills necessary to prevent accidents and respond effectively to emergencies. Our initiative fosters a culture of safety, benefiting everyone in our community and contributing to overall public health and well-being.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our generous donors, whose unwavering support sustains our swim lessons, annual safety events, and facility improvements at Evergreen Pool. Their contributions helps in ensuring vital safety education and a safe, welcoming environment. Learn more about these amazing benefactors below.
